I have been a coach professionally for a few years now. Throughout that time I have had success in helping my clients improve their strength, function, health, and quality of life. However, I feel I haven’t yet hit the mark on teaching others how to improve all aspects of their health.
Over the past 9 years, I have been on a journey to optimize my health and performance. Along the way, I have become invested in doing the same for everyone around me. In my time learning about health and nutrition I can honestly say that the application of the information I learn, the deep drive for perfection, and the time I have spent teaching others how to do it for themselves has changed who I am for the better.
I changed from someone who was lacking direction, confidence, and purpose to having true meaning and a desire to help others. I have grown through my journey to health and I want the same for you.
My mission for this year is to teach the scientific principles of health and human performance in a practical and applicable manner. Science and health can be very complex and hard to understand. There are countless individuals and organizations spreading conflicting messages and overcomplicating the foundational principles that will lead you to better health.
My foundational principles for health:
Nutrition
Exercise
Sleep
Social Health and Well-being
In the coming weeks, we will focus solely on nutrition. Nutrition is, in my opinion, the hardest aspect of health to conquer, and with all challenging feats when mastered has the largest impact on us as humans.
My promise to you is that I will provide evidence-based information with an open mind and pursuit of learning. I will always be open to conversations around any topic we discuss.
